Choose your cancellation route

The exact steps depend on who charges you. Match your billing source below, then follow that route — canceling in the wrong place is the most common reason a subscription keeps charging.

Billing source Steps
direct billing 4 Recommended
Apple App Store billing 3 Go →
Google Play billing 3 Go →

Cancel via direct billing Recommended

Billed through direct billing · online or in the app

  1. 1

    Identify the billed profile

Check the receipt and select the Facebook or Instagram account that owns the creator subscription.

  2. 2

    Open Meta Verified

In that account, open Accounts Center and select Meta Verified.

  3. 3

    Manage the subscription

Open the subscribed profile and its subscription management controls.

  4. 4

    Cancel and verify

Complete cancellation and save the displayed end date or confirmation.

Timing

  • Confirm the effective date shown for your subscription before leaving the cancellation flow.

Watch out

  • This route is for creator subscriptions. Meta Verified for businesses has separate account and billing controls. If Apple or Google Play billed you, cancel through that store. Cancellation does not itself approve a refund.

Cancel via Apple App Store billing

Billed through apple app store billing · online or in the app

  1. 1

    Open Apple subscriptions

On iPhone or iPad, go to Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions.

  2. 2

    Find the Meta Verified subscription.

  3. 3

    Cancel Subscription

    Tap Cancel Subscription and confirm.

Timing

  • Apple-billed subscriptions must be canceled through Apple.

Cancel via Google Play billing

Billed through google play billing · online or in the app

  1. 1

    Open Google Play subscriptions

Open Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions in Google Play.

  2. 2

    Select Meta Verified

    Choose the Meta Verified subscription.

  3. 3

    Cancel subscription

Follow the Google Play cancellation prompts.

Timing

  • Google Play–billed subscriptions must be canceled in Google Play.

Before you cancel, keep these

Two minutes of housekeeping now saves a support headache later if a charge reappears.

  • The cancellation confirmation email or reference number — your proof if a charge reappears.
  • The date your access ends, so you know exactly what you have already paid for.
  • A screenshot of the final statement after the billing cycle closes.
  • Which billing path you canceled (e.g. app store vs. the provider directly) — canceling one may not stop the other.

What to say to support

If you end up on live chat or the phone, a clear, specific request gets you through faster. This is a sample template — adapt the details to your own account.

Hi, I'd like to cancel my Meta Verified subscription. Please stop the recurring charge effective at the end of my current billing period and send me a written confirmation with a cancellation reference number. If any retention or downgrade offer applies, I'd like to review it before you finalize.

More to consider

Find the subscribed account

Check the receipt, then select the Facebook or Instagram profile that was subscribed. A creator subscription and a business subscription are different products. Opening an unrelated profile can hide the cancellation controls.

Save the cancellation result

Finish the cancellation flow and record the effective date shown. For Apple or Google billing, verify cancellation in that store. A refund request is a separate decision under the billing provider’s policy; cancellation alone does not guarantee one.
