How to Cancel Crunch
Check your Crunch Member Portal for a cancellation option. If your home gym does not offer one, call or visit that gym for its required process. Notice periods, fees, and cancellation methods depend on your location and Membership Agreement.
Choose your cancellation route
| Route | When to use it | Proof to save |
|---|---|---|
| Member Portal | Your gym offers online cancellation | Confirmation screen or email |
| Phone | You need the home gym’s instructions | Staff name, date, and written follow-up |
| In person | Your gym requires a form or signature | Dated copy of the completed request |
Before you cancel
Have these ready:
- •Membership number, account email, and home gym name.
- •Membership Agreement, including any employer or special-offer terms.
- •Next payment date and any fixed-term end date.
- •Photo ID if visiting the gym.
Cancel through the Member Portal

Use the account connected to your home gym.
- 2
Find the cancellation option.
Check the membership or billing area for Manage Membership or similar controls. Online cancellation is available only at some locations.
- 3
Review the terms.
Check the stated notice period, final payment, and effective date.
- 4
Submit and save proof.
Keep the confirmation number, email, or screenshot.
Cancel through your home gym
- 1
Contact the right location.
Use Crunch’s gym finder to confirm your home gym’s phone number or staffed hours.
- 2
Request the required process.
Ask whether cancellation needs a form, written notice, or an in-person signature. A phone call alone may not complete it.
- 3
Complete the request.
Provide your membership details and follow the gym’s instructions.
- 4
Get written confirmation.
Ask for the cancellation date, final billing date, and a copy of any signed form.
What to ask: “Please confirm the cancellation method for my agreement, any remaining fees, and the date my membership and billing will end.”
Fees and timing
Notice period
There is no single notice rule for every Crunch gym. Use the period in your Membership Agreement and ask whether another monthly payment falls within it.
Fixed-term membership
Leaving before the agreed end date may involve additional obligations. Ask the gym to identify the applicable contract clause and amount.
Final charges and refunds
Confirm how monthly dues, annual charges, access, and any refund are handled. Do not assume a final charge is prorated.
Taking a temporary break
Ask whether a freeze is available and confirm its cost, duration, and reactivation terms before choosing it.
If cancellation does not go through
No portal option
Call or visit your home gym. Missing online controls do not mean the membership has ended.
No confirmation
Ask the gym for written acknowledgment and the effective date. Keep your request, correspondence, and call notes together.
Another charge appears
Compare the charge with the notice period and confirmed end date. Send your proof to the home gym and ask a manager to review an unresolved charge.

Frequently Asked Questions
Does stopping payments cancel my membership?
No. Skipping workouts or removing a payment card does not replace the gym’s cancellation process. Submit the required request and keep proof.
Does my membership end as soon as I ask?
Not necessarily. Your agreement, notice period, and billing cycle determine the effective date. Get that date in writing.
