How to Cancel Equinox
You can request to cancel your Equinox membership in several ways: speak with a club manager, use the mail process in your Membership Agreement, email Cancellations@Equinox.com, call Equinox Concierge, or sign in to your online account. Review the agreement first
Read the section on ending the membership before you write or submit anything. Look for the required notice, mailing process, effective-date rules, and any instructions that apply to your membership type. If the agreement says to use mail, follow its directions rather than relying on a general address from another source.

Submit a clear request
Use the method you selected and identify yourself clearly. Include enough information for the team to find your account, such as your name, membership number, home club, and the contact information associated with the membership. State that you are requesting cancellation.
If you use email, send the request to Cancellations@Equinox.com. If you use the online account, look for membership or billing controls after signing in. The FAQ directs members to the account area for membership status and account information.

Keep a complete record
Save your request as soon as you send it. Keep copies of emails, letters, delivery records, screenshots, and any response from the club or Concierge. For an in-person conversation or phone call, make a short note with the date and the person you spoke with.

Confirm the final status
Check for a written response after you submit the request. If you do not receive one, contact the club manager or Concierge and ask whether the request was received. Refer to the date and method you used.
Then review your member account and payment statement. Do not treat a canceled class booking, unused personal training session, spa treatment, Pilates session, or other purchase as proof that the membership itself has ended. Those services and credits can have separate terms. Equinox’s policies describe promotional items and account credits as separate benefits that may be connected to a membership.
Consider a membership freeze first
Freeze eligibility
A medical inability to use the club may qualify, with a signed letter from an eligible provider if requested. Some membership types and accounts not in good standing are excluded. Retroactive freezes are not permitted.
Request and restart
Ask the club or Concierge for the required process before sending medical information. To unfreeze, contact your club or Concierge@Equinox.com.

Missing online controls
Check membership and billing status, then use the official contact options or speak to your club if you cannot proceed.
Past-due balance
