How to Cancel a Genspark Subscription and Stop Renewals

If you need to cancel a Genspark subscription, first identify where you purchased it. Web subscriptions are managed in your Genspark account, while subscriptions bought through the Apple App Store or Google Play must be canceled through that store’s subscription settings. Genspark treats web and mobile purchases as separate billing channels. Genspark Membership Plans

This guide explains how to stop future renewal, what happens to your paid access afterward, where to find invoices, and what to do if the cancellation option is missing. Before you start, check your receipt, bank statement, or app-store purchase history to confirm the billing channel.

Steps to solve it

Use the checklist below to choose the correct cancellation route. Canceling through the wrong billing system may not stop the subscription renewal.

Purchase type Where to cancel Core action
Genspark website subscription Genspark account billing settings Open Settings > Billing > Cancellation card > Cancel Subscription. Genspark Membership Plans
Apple App Store subscription iPhone or iPad subscription settings Open Settings > your name > Subscriptions > Genspark > Cancel Subscription. Apple Support
Google Play subscription Android Google Play subscription settings Open the subscription controls for the Google Play account used for the purchase and manage Genspark there. Genspark Membership Plans

Cancel a web subscription

Follow these steps if you subscribed through the Genspark website rather than an app store:

  1. 1

Sign in to the Genspark account that was logged in when you started the subscription purchase.

  2. 2

    Open Settings.

  3. 3

    Select Billing.

  4. 4

Find the Cancellation card and select Cancel Subscription.

Genspark says web subscriptions can be canceled at any time. After a standard cancellation, the paid plan generally stays active until the end of the current billing period. Genspark Membership Plans

Check the billing page after completing the action. Review the displayed status and end date so you know when paid access is due to end. This is useful if you canceled after a recent renewal or if you are comparing whether to keep access for the rest of the paid period.

If payment is past due, Genspark says the cancellation takes effect immediately rather than at the end of the billing period. Genspark Membership Plans

If you are canceling a Genspark Cloud Computer subscription, back up critical data before the current subscription period ends. Genspark says the Cloud Computer is reclaimed when cancellation takes effect and all data stored on it is permanently erased and cannot be recovered. Genspark Membership Plans

Cancel an Apple App Store subscription

Use Apple’s subscription controls if you purchased Genspark through an iPhone or iPad. The Genspark billing portal does not manage an App Store subscription. Genspark Membership Plans

On an iPhone or iPad:

  1. 1

    Open Settings.

  2. 2

Tap your name at the top of the screen.

  3. 3

    Select Subscriptions.

  4. 4

    Select the Genspark subscription.

  5. 5

Tap Cancel Subscription and follow Apple’s on-screen instructions.

Apple also provides a web-based method for some subscriptions purchased through the App Store. Use Apple’s official subscription page if you cannot access the device that made the purchase. Apple Support

Cancel an Android subscription

If you bought Genspark through Google Play, manage it through the subscription settings for the Google Play account that made the purchase. Genspark directs Android customers to Google Play subscription settings for mobile cancellation. Genspark Membership Plans

Do not rely on a website cancellation to stop an App Store or Google Play renewal. Genspark’s web billing portal and mobile-store subscriptions are separate. Genspark Membership Plans

Before and after you cancel

Your purchase channel affects where you manage payments, invoices, cancellation status, and support requests. Genspark manages web billing through its own billing tools. Apple and Google Play handle payment details and invoices for purchases made through their stores. Genspark Membership Plans

After a normal web cancellation, your paid membership remains available through the current paid billing period. When that period ends, Genspark says the account automatically returns to its Free plan. Genspark Membership Plans

The Free plan has limited access. Genspark’s terms describe free use as including limited daily credits, limited storage, and basic access to AI models and agents. Genspark Terms of Service Review your account before the paid period ends if you depend on paid features, storage, credits, or agent access for ongoing work.

If you change your mind before a canceled web subscription ends, Genspark says you can reactivate it before the current paid period expires and continue without an interruption in access. Genspark Membership Plans Check the Billing area for the available reactivation option and its current terms.

Genspark says pausing a subscription is not available. You can cancel and subscribe again later, but the benefits available when you resubscribe will apply. Genspark Membership Plans This matters if plan features, credits, or promotions change between cancellation and a later purchase.

Refunds and billing records

Cancellation stops a future renewal. It does not automatically establish eligibility for a refund. Genspark’s current web refund policy varies by subscription type, account status, and local law. Its membership guidance lists a 14-day window for customers in the EU, UK, and Turkey; 7 days for customers in Korea; and 72 hours for other customers. Eligibility also depends on using less than 50% of the subscription or quota. Genspark Membership Plans

For the current refund rules, review Genspark’s membership page before submitting a request. Genspark Membership Plans App Store and Google Play refunds are handled through the applicable store rather than Genspark’s web billing process. Genspark Membership Plans

Genspark’s terms direct users to the membership page for subscription management, refund information, FAQs, and support. Genspark Terms of Service

Troubleshooting common cancellation problems

Check the purchase channel and the Genspark account used when you subscribed before repeating a cancellation step. This helps you avoid looking for a web subscription in an app store, or looking for an app-store purchase in Genspark Billing.
