How to Cancel Your Base44 Subscription Without Losing Track of Your Apps

To cancel a Base44 plan bought on the website, open your workspace settings, choose General → Plan & Subscriptions, open the actions menu beside the plan, and select Cancel plan. Complete the confirmation. A subscription bought through Apple or Google must be managed through that store instead. Base44 billing documentation

Before canceling, make a short inventory of the apps you still need. Ending a development subscription is also an operational decision if customers or colleagues use what you built.

Cancel the correct workspace

  1. 1

Sign in with the account that purchased the plan.

  2. 2

Check the workspace name against your invoice.

  3. 3

Open the settings and subscription page described above.

  4. 4

If you already scheduled a plan change, use Cancel Change before canceling the plan.

  5. 5

Confirm the cancellation and record the effective date.

For a custom Enterprise contract, contact Base44 rather than expecting the standard actions menu. Base44 says ordinary cancellation stops renewal, does not automatically refund the current period, and leaves paid access available until that period ends. Cancellation and Enterprise guidance

Treat the confirmation as the billing record. Closing a browser tab, stopping development, or deleting an individual app is not evidence that you completed the subscription cancellation.

Check what happens to published apps

Base44 says cancellation returns the workspace to Free when the paid period ends. Its current documentation limits Free to five apps; if you have more, choose which five remain published. Paid-only features may also be lost. Plan limits after cancellation

Create a practical handover list:

Item What to record before the plan ends
Published app Address, owner, and whether it must remain available
Important data Where the current copy lives and how you can access it
Paid feature Whether the app depends on it for normal operation
External service Its separate account owner and next billing date

Do not infer that canceling Base44 cancels a separately purchased domain, email service, payment account, or other vendor. Check those invoices individually. Likewise, do not delete an app merely to stop the plan charge unless you actually want to remove that app.

If Apple or Google billed you

Match the purchase receipt to the store account. In Apple's subscription settings, select Base44 and cancel the active subscription. For Google Play, open the subscription list under Payments & subscriptions, select the plan, and finish cancellation. Use the store confirmation to verify the outcome. The phone you currently use does not establish who billed the original purchase. Start with the receipt, especially if you switched devices or accounts.

Refunds and billing questions

Cancellation and a refund request have different purposes. First stop the next renewal; then identify the exact payment you want reviewed. Send support the workspace name, invoice reference, payment date, and a concise explanation of the problem. For a store purchase, use that store's refund process.

Avoid buying a replacement plan while investigating an unexpected charge. Compare the existing invoice and account status first, so you do not create another payment to resolve the original one.

Final check

Keep the cancellation confirmation with your app inventory. Before the effective date, test the apps you intend to retain and tell their users about any planned changes. After the former renewal date, compare the billing record with your payment statement. If a new charge appears, provide support with the workspace, invoice, and cancellation timestamp rather than repeating the cancellation without investigating the charge.
