How to Cancel a PropStream Subscription Before Renewal
PropStream's published terms direct customers to contact Customer Support at 877-204-9040 before the next billing-cycle date to cancel. Have your account details and renewal information ready and request written confirmation of the effective date.
Before ending access, review any active add-ons, saved work, and business processes that depend on the account. Canceling the base plan should not be assumed to resolve every separately billed service without confirmation.
Review the account before contacting support
Find the latest invoice and record the billing period, account email, and any additional services. Compare those items with what you intend to stop.
If teammates use the account, tell them when access is expected to change and identify any essential work that needs to be completed. Avoid leaving a customer-facing workflow dependent on a plan you are about to end.
Save only information you are entitled to retain under the service's license and your own obligations. Access to property data does not automatically grant unrestricted rights to copy or redistribute it.
Request cancellation clearly
Call the official support number before renewal. Explain that you want the subscription canceled, identify the account, and ask which services the cancellation covers.
Request confirmation of:
- The cancellation effective date.
- Whether another recurring charge is scheduled.
- Any add-on that requires a separate action.
- Any amount already incurred or still outstanding.
- The expected end of account access.
Keep the call date and reference number. If support sends an email, check that it names the intended account and reflects the requested outcome rather than merely acknowledging an inquiry.
Distinguish future renewal from charges already incurred
The terms describe recurring subscription fees and additional services until cancellation. A request to stop renewal does not automatically establish that past usage charges or other incurred amounts are refunded.
If you believe a payment is incorrect, identify the transaction separately and explain why. Ask for a written decision on any refund request rather than treating the cancellation confirmation as an approval.
A useful follow-up is:
Please confirm the subscription will not renew and identify any remaining charges. Please also confirm whether the add-ons listed on my latest invoice are included in this cancellation.
Prepare for access changes
Review which reports, notes, and account communications you need for legitimate ongoing work. Check that any permitted exports open correctly and are stored securely. Keep invoices and cancellation records separately from business data.
Do not wait until access ends to discover that an important file was only a shortcut into the platform. Test the material you intend to retain while the account still allows access.
Follow up if another payment appears
Compare the payment with the confirmed cancellation date and invoice description. Ask support whether it is an earlier incurred charge, an add-on, or a renewal that requires correction.
Use the existing case reference and attach the confirmation. This gives support a specific issue to investigate and helps avoid repeating the cancellation request without resolving the original billing question.
Keep track of what you want to cancel.
Review your subscriptions in Subpilot and request cancellation help where supported. Some providers require you to act directly; submitting a request does not confirm cancellation.
