How to Cancel a Drift Fragrance Subscription

You can manage a Drift fragrance subscription from your Drift account or the subscription link in an order confirmation email. Drift's subscription policy says subscriptions can be changed or canceled. Cancel before the next order is processed if your goal is to prevent another refill.

This guide concerns the fragrance products sold at drift.co. If your receipt belongs to a different company named Drift, use that company's billing instructions instead.

Find the refill you want to stop

Sign in using the email address connected to your Drift orders. Open the subscription-management area and check the product, quantity, delivery schedule, and upcoming order date. If you have several refills, identify each one you intend to end.

An old promotional email may lead to a product page rather than your subscription. The order-confirmation management link described in Drift's policy is a more useful starting point when you cannot find the correct account view.

Before changing anything, decide which outcome you want:

Your goal What to review
Stop future refills Cancel the relevant subscription
Take a temporary break Review the available pause option
Keep deliveries but change fragrance Review the scent settings
Stop an order already charged Ask support about that specific order

These choices address different problems. A scent change does not document a cancellation, and an inquiry about an order does not necessarily end future refills.

Complete cancellation in the account

Drift's official FAQ directs customers to log in to pause or cancel. Follow the cancellation controls shown for the selected subscription and continue until the account displays the result. The public guidance does not establish one universal sequence of button labels for every account, so use the current account interface rather than an outdated screenshot.

Save the completed status and any email confirmation. Reopen the subscription details to check whether another refill is still scheduled. If the account contains a second active subscription, review it separately.

If a button is missing or the page fails, contact Drift through the official Help Center. Explain whether you need future refills stopped, a pending order checked, or both. Include the account email and order number when relevant.

Understand the difference between a refill and a refund

Canceling a subscription is not a blanket refund promise. Drift's refund policy addresses defective products and other dissatisfaction separately. It identifies hello@drift.co for refund requests and excludes original shipping and handling costs from the described refund.

The policy uses different timing references: it discusses defects within 14 days of receipt but also says requests received more than 14 days after original shipment will not be refunded. Because those references can produce different dates, contact Drift promptly and ask which deadline applies to your order. Do not wait until a presumed last day based on only one sentence.

For a damaged or defective item, keep photographs, the delivery date, and the order number. For another issue, describe what happened and ask which remedy is available. The policy makes other compensation discretionary; a replacement, credit, or refund should not be treated as guaranteed before approval.

If a charge appears after cancellation

Compare the charge with the order-processing timeline. Check whether the payment relates to an order created before cancellation or to a new refill afterward. Send support the confirmation and transaction details so it can investigate the actual sequence.

Avoid placing a replacement order simply to test whether the account is still active. Checking the subscription status and asking support for written clarification is a cleaner way to establish what remains scheduled.

Keep track of what you want to cancel.

Review your subscriptions in Subpilot and request cancellation help where supported. Some providers require you to act directly; submitting a request does not confirm cancellation.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I pause instead of canceling?

Drift's FAQ describes both options. Check any restart date before choosing a pause; if you want no further refills, complete cancellation instead.

Does changing a scent stop the subscription?

No. Scent management changes what you receive. Confirm cancellation separately if you want recurring deliveries to end.

Will canceling stop a package already shipped?

Do not assume so. Ask support about the specific order and the applicable return or refund process while separately confirming that future refills have stopped.
