How to Cancel WalkFit Through the Correct Billing Account
If you purchased WalkFit on its website, sign in to the web account and open Account Settings → Subscription to cancel. If you purchased through Apple or Google Play, cancel through the original store account instead. WalkFit's official guide distinguishes those purchase routes.
The guide says to cancel at least 24 hours before the next billing date. Begin early enough to resolve an account-access problem instead of relying on an unfinished request at renewal time.
Identify where you subscribed
Check the receipt rather than the device where you use the app. A plan bought after a website quiz or advertisement may be billed directly even if you later use WalkFit on an iPhone or Android device.
Record the account email, payment date, plan, and renewal date. If the plan does not appear under a phone's subscriptions, look for the website purchase confirmation before concluding that there is no active subscription.
Complete the appropriate cancellation flow
For direct billing, use the web-account link from the official guide. Open the subscription settings and follow the cancellation prompts to completion. The guide also offers Help Center assistance if you need support.
For a store purchase, locate WalkFit in the purchasing store account and follow its cancellation controls. Check the account shown on the receipt if it is missing from your current store login.
Save the final status or email and note when access ends. Deleting the WalkFit app does not cancel the subscription according to the official guidance.
If you cannot find your account
Search for the original purchase email and compare it with your current login. Check whether the payment was made through a different store account or a website checkout.
Ask official support to locate the subscription using the account email and transaction reference. Avoid sending passwords, one-time login codes, or full card details in an ordinary message.
A useful request is:
Please identify the subscription connected to this receipt and confirm how to stop its renewal. I attempted cancellation on [date]. Please confirm the effective date and whether another payment is scheduled.
Deal with refunds separately
If you want a payment reviewed, ask the billing provider about that specific transaction. Explain whether it is a recent signup, renewal, duplicate payment, or a charge you do not recognize. Do not assume that ending future renewal also reverses a past payment.
Keep the cancellation result and refund decision as separate records. If a credit is approved, verify that it appears on the original payment method rather than marking the refund complete when you first submit the request.
Check after cancellation
Review the next relevant statement and match any later charge with the plan and billing dates. If it conflicts with the confirmation, provide that confirmation to support. Retain any exercise records you need before access changes, but do not delay a time-sensitive cancellation simply to reorganize your account.
Keep track of what you want to cancel.
Review your subscriptions in Subpilot and request cancellation help where supported. Some providers require you to act directly; submitting a request does not confirm cancellation.
