Visible Free Trial: Eligibility, Setup, and What Happens After 15 Days
Visible offers eligible users a 15-day network trial without requiring a credit card or a commitment to join a paid plan. The trial works through an eSIM on a compatible phone, while your existing carrier service can remain in place. If you do not choose a paid membership, the trial expires automatically. The temporary trial number, your existing number, and a later paid Visible membership are separate parts of the process. Understanding those parts avoids unnecessary number-transfer mistakes. In particular, Visible says you can keep the trial number when joining on the same phone, but cannot transfer that trial number to another carrier. Visible official Free Trial help
Who is eligible?
The trial is intended for eligible users in the United States with an eSIM-compatible phone. You must not be a current Visible member, have been a Visible member within the previous 12 months, or have used its trial within the previous 12 months. Use the official compatibility check rather than assuming a phone qualifies based only on its brand or age. Visible official Free Trial help
Visible asks for the phone's IMEI during signup. That check connects eligibility to the device on which you plan to activate the trial. Enter the information for that phone, and complete the check before treating the offer as available to you. Visible official Free Trial help
The absence of a credit-card requirement is part of the free offer. Payment details become relevant if you deliberately join a paid plan. Downloading the app and starting an eligible trial should not be confused with authorizing a recurring paid membership. The official FAQ separates trial registration from its Join Now process. Keep the trial account identifiable. If you later need to review the trial or join Visible, the account used during signup connects you to that process. Creating additional accounts is not a substitute for resolving an activation or eligibility issue. The offer's previous-trial and previous-membership limits still apply. Activation is not identical on every phone. Visible provides separate instructions for Android and iPhone, including the eSIM installation prompts and the choices that control which line handles data or messages. Follow the section for your device. Visible official Free Trial help
Set up the trial on Android
For Android, the official instructions describe activating in the Visible app, entering a ZIP code for the temporary number, and following the eSIM prompts. Continue through the installation steps shown by the app and the phone rather than stopping as soon as an account has been created. An account and an installed service are different stages. Once the eSIM has been added, check the phone's SIM settings to understand which connection is being used. Your existing carrier can remain installed alongside the trial. The point of that arrangement is to let you test Visible without first surrendering your current service. Visible official Free Trial help
If your phone presents different wording from another Android model, use the activation instructions and the device's own prompts. The compatibility check and completed eSIM setup are more useful than copying a menu sequence intended for a different manufacturer. Visible official Free Trial help
Set up the trial on iPhone
Visible's iPhone instructions include choices for the default line, iMessage and FaceTime, and cellular data. These settings determine how the two installed services are used. Read each choice rather than assuming that adding an eSIM automatically routes every activity through the trial. Visible official Free Trial help
To test Visible's cellular data, select the Visible eSIM for that function as directed. Your existing line can still be relevant for your regular number. Keeping the distinction clear helps you interpret the trial: activity carried over the existing carrier does not show how Visible's connection performs. Visible official Free Trial help
You are not required to port your usual number just to begin the test. Visible's FAQ explicitly lets the existing carrier remain in place during the trial. The number-transfer process belongs to joining a paid membership if you decide to make that change. Visible official Free Trial help
Understand the temporary number
Visible assigns a trial number for the test. If you decide to join Visible using the same phone, the official FAQ says you can keep that number. This is an option for a new paid membership, not permission to move the trial number to any provider you choose. Visible official Free Trial help
The trial number cannot be ported out to a different carrier. If your intention is to keep your long-standing number, follow Visible's process for bringing that existing number after joining. Do not confuse the temporary test number with the number held by your present carrier. Visible official Free Trial help
Visible's guidance also says to bring your number before canceling the old carrier service. A number transfer depends on the existing line being available for that process. Starting a trial is therefore not a reason to close the old account immediately. Visible official Free Trial help
Join a paid plan only if you want to
During the trial, Visible provides a Join Now option. Joining requires choosing the paid service and supplying the required billing information. Review the plan selected at that point rather than assuming the trial automatically enrolls you in a particular price or membership tier. Visible official Free Trial help
If you are bringing your existing number, Visible describes doing that after joining. If you instead want the trial number, the same-phone condition applies. These are alternative number choices within the joining process, and the official instructions should guide the one you select. Visible official Free Trial help
A paid membership is a new decision beyond the no-card trial. The fact that the trial ends automatically does not describe the billing rules for a paid plan you intentionally activate. Keep the trial's expiration separate from the terms shown when you join. Visible official Free Trial help
Let the trial expire or remove it early
If you take no action to join, the trial expires after 15 days. Visible says you can still sign in for 60 days afterward and join during that period; after that, the trial account is terminated. That account-access window does not extend the free network service for another 60 days. Visible official Free Trial help
To stop using the trial early, Visible's instructions include a Remove Network Trial option and the steps for deleting its eSIM. Follow those instructions for the trial connection while checking that you are editing the correct line. Visible official Free Trial help
The simplest way to interpret the end of the offer is to separate three outcomes: the free service expires, the account remains available for the stated joining window, and paid service begins only if you choose to join. None of those requires canceling your existing carrier merely because you tested Visible. Visible official Free Trial help
Keep trial renewals on your radar.
Subpilot offers reminders for detected trials when the available data supports them. Check the provider’s renewal date yourself; a reminder does not cancel a trial or guarantee that a charge will be avoided.
