How to Cancel Cleo and Review the Final Payment
To cancel a Cleo subscription, type cancel in the app's chat and complete the unsubscribe flow. Cleo's current terms also allow cancellation by emailing team@meetcleo.com. Cancel before the next subscription fee is charged to avoid the following month's billing.
Check the plan name and distinguish membership fees from cash-advance repayments, express fees, or card-related amounts before reviewing any final payment.
Complete the unsubscribe process
Open the account used for the paid plan, type cancel, and follow the prompts. Save the completed result and the date. If chat offers a different tier, accept it only if you intend to remain subscribed.
If the flow fails, contact the official email with the account information and a description of the problem. Ask for the effective date and written confirmation that recurring membership billing has stopped.
Do not substitute deleting the app or account for an explicit subscription cancellation. Keep access to records while any payment question is unresolved.
Identify what the charge covers
Cleo's payment-help article directs customers to Payment help through the app profile to review subscription and advance-related charges.
Compare the amount with that history before asking for a correction. A membership fee and an advance repayment are not interchangeable, even if both appear under the same company name on a statement.
Ask support to explain any balance separately. Do not assume stopping the subscription erases a transaction or obligation created earlier.
Check refund eligibility against your plan
The current terms describe a 27-day grace period from initial signup for a particular tier, with conditions. Opening a Cleo Card, taking a cash advance, or deleting the account without unsubscribing ends that grace period. The terms also exclude the named Mobile bundle plans from that refund arrangement.
Some Cleo help articles describe different windows for individual products. Because the terms and older help wording differ, ask support to confirm which policy applies to your specific plan and purchase date. Do not assume a universal 30-day refund or wait until a presumed final day.
Include the transaction and reason for review in the request. Keep the approval or denial separately from the subscription cancellation confirmation.
If a refund is approved
Ask for the amount, processing date, and payment method. Check the corresponding account for the credit. If it is missing, provide the approval reference when following up rather than submitting an entirely new cancellation request.
An acknowledgment that your message was received is not a refund decision. Likewise, an active free account after cancellation does not by itself mean that paid renewal continues.
Final checks
Keep the canceled-plan status, effective date, and explanation of any remaining payments. If you also want account closure or deletion, address that separately after you have preserved the records needed for billing and any open support matter.
Keep track of what you want to cancel.
Review your subscriptions in Subpilot and request cancellation help where supported. Some providers require you to act directly; submitting a request does not confirm cancellation.
