How to Cancel IdentityIQ Membership

IdentityIQ says members can cancel by calling 877-875-4347 during business hours or by using the cancellation button in the member dashboard where that option is available. These are the methods listed in its official FAQ.

Start with the membership you actually purchased. Record the account email, current plan, and next billing date. If you are investigating a charge, keep the exact statement description and amount with the receipt.

Try the member dashboard

Sign in through the official IdentityIQ website and review the membership settings. If a cancel control is available, follow the process to its completed result. Save the account status or confirmation email and record the effective date.

The FAQ qualifies dashboard cancellation with “where available.” If your account does not show the button, do not spend the renewal window looking for a menu that may not be offered to you. Use Customer Care and ask for confirmation of the outcome.

Cancel through Customer Care

Call the official number above and explain that you want the paid membership canceled. Have the account information ready so the representative can locate the correct membership. Follow the company's identity-verification process through the official channel.

Ask for these details before ending the call:

  • Whether the cancellation is complete.
  • The effective date and whether another charge is scheduled.
  • A confirmation number or written confirmation.
  • The status of any separately requested refund.

Write down the call date and case reference. If you are offered a different plan, accept it only if you actually want to continue. A downgrade and cancellation have different billing outcomes.

IdentityIQ's customer-service guidance identifies membership changes as something its team can assist with. Use that official contact route rather than an unverified number in an advertisement.

Keep useful records before access changes

If there are credit-monitoring alerts or support communications you need, save the relevant records securely while you can access them. Avoid downloading sensitive information onto a shared device.

Ask how cancellation affects any unresolved identity-related assistance associated with your membership. Do not infer that ending billing resolves an open identity issue, changes a credit report, or removes information from other companies' databases.

If you want account-data deletion too, make it a distinct privacy request and ask what information must be retained. Keep the billing confirmation until the subscription matter is settled.

Review a charge or request a refund

Identify the transaction date and amount and ask which membership period it covers. Request refund review separately; the availability of cancellation does not establish a universal refund entitlement.

If you already canceled, send the confirmation and ask support to compare the payment with the effective date. Keep the explanation and any approved refund amount. When a credit is issued, check that it posts to the expected payment method.

If you do not recognize the membership at all, contact your payment provider promptly through its official channel and describe the facts accurately. Do not send sensitive identity documents to an unfamiliar site offering to investigate the charge.

Final checks

Your records should show the membership is canceled, the date billing ends, and the outcome of any refund inquiry. Review the next relevant statement and follow up using the same case reference if the result does not match the confirmation.

Let Subpilot help

Keep track of what you want to cancel.

Review your subscriptions in Subpilot and request cancellation help where supported. Some providers require you to act directly; submitting a request does not confirm cancellation.
