The published standard offer is a $1 processing fee for a seven-day trial, then $39.94 per month unless canceled before the trial ends. Lower promotional or retention prices can apply, and product-specific terms can override the general terms. Check the confirmation from your own enrollment for your actual deadline and amount.

Identify the subscription

Locate the welcome email and compare its service name with the transaction you are investigating. Note the account email, enrollment date, membership reference if available, and most recent charge.

If you used more than one credit-monitoring service, do not assume their billing or cancellation systems are connected. Create a separate record for each provider and match the receipt before requesting cancellation.

Contact the provider

  1. 1

Email support@mymonthlyscore.com, call 800-320-0892, or follow the contact-form link in the official terms.

  2. 2

Identify the membership using the purchase email and reference.

  3. 3

State that you want to cancel recurring billing.

  4. 4

Ask for the effective date and whether another membership payment is scheduled.

  5. 5

Obtain written confirmation or a cancellation reference.

The terms also allow additional account-based cancellation methods where required by applicable law. That is not a promise that every account has the same cancellation button. The verified email and phone routes above provide alternatives without an invented dashboard sequence.

What to say

Keep the request specific: “Please cancel the MyMonthlyScore membership associated with [email]. Confirm when cancellation takes effect and whether any future membership charge is scheduled. I would also like an explanation of the payment dated [date] for [amount].”

If your only request is to explain a transaction, support may not understand that you also want the subscription stopped. Separate cancellation from any billing investigation so both receive an answer.

Trial and refund questions

Cancel before the first scheduled paid charge to avoid trial conversion into recurring billing. Failed identity verification does not automatically end membership, according to section 3; opting out of marketing messages is also a separate action.

Section 10 says access continues through the paid period after cancellation. Fees already incurred generally are not refunded or prorated, except where required by law or the express membership terms. Ask customer service to review a billing error; other refunds are discretionary. Identify the payment date, amount, and reason for your request. Trial, cancellation, and refund provisions

If support approves a credit, record the amount and expected timing. Check that it reaches the payment account and follow up in the same support conversation if it does not.

Keep a complete cancellation record

Save the request, response, membership identifier, and effective date together. After the former renewal date, review your statement. If another payment appears, ask whether it belongs to the same membership and which billing period it covers.

Use only secure, verified channels for identity checks. A routine request should not include account passwords or full payment credentials.

Source check: October 27, 2026. The current public terms verify the contact channels and billing conditions above. Private account controls were not tested; rely on the available official route and retain confirmation.

Let Subpilot help

Keep track of what you want to cancel.

Review your subscriptions in Subpilot and request cancellation help where supported. Some providers require you to act directly; submitting a request does not confirm cancellation.
