How to Cancel ScoreSense and Stop Membership Renewals

To cancel ScoreSense, check your account settings for the cancellation option, use the official support chat, or call 800-972-7204. ScoreSense says online account cancellation is available in certain states; if the option is not present, use chat or phone rather than assuming your account cannot be canceled. ScoreSense FAQ

Before you begin, locate the welcome email and the account used for the membership. If you are investigating an **OTL*ScoreSense** charge, ScoreSense identifies that descriptor with its service, operated by One Technologies. Match it to your own receipt before drawing conclusions about a specific payment. Official charge explanation

Cancel through the available account route

  1. 1

Sign in to the account connected to the billed membership.

  2. 2

Open account settings and check for a cancellation control.

  3. 3

If available, complete the cancellation and retain the confirmation.

  4. 4

If not available, open ScoreSense support chat or call its published support number.

  5. 5

Ask the representative to confirm that future membership billing has stopped.

ScoreSense's FAQ lists the membership ID, name, and physical address as information that can help locate an account. The membership ID is included in the welcome email. Cancellation and account identification

Use the official account or support channel for verification. Do not post credit reports, full payment details, or identity documents in a public review or social-media reply to request cancellation.

If a trial is ending

Use the deadline and renewal amount in your own enrollment confirmation. Offers can differ, so a trial description in an old search result is not a reliable substitute for the terms you accepted.

Do not wait until you have used every feature if your priority is avoiding another membership period. Record the time you submitted the cancellation and obtain a final response. A message asking how cancellation works is not as clear as a direct instruction to cancel the membership.

An effective request is: “Please cancel my ScoreSense membership associated with [account email or member ID]. Confirm the effective date and whether another membership charge is scheduled.” Add a separate paragraph if you want an earlier payment reviewed.

Cancellation versus a refund

ScoreSense says there should be no further membership charges once cancellation is confirmed. That statement is about future billing; it does not establish that a prior payment will automatically be returned. Official cancellation FAQ

For a refund inquiry, identify the transaction date and amount. Explain whether the issue is an unexpected trial conversion, a payment after cancellation, or a charge you do not recognize. Ask for the decision in writing rather than treating a support conversation as an approved refund.

If you receive an approval, record the amount and ask how the credit will be identified. Keep checking the payment account until the transaction appears or the provider's stated processing period has passed.

What if you still see a charge?

Compare the payment date with the cancellation date before assuming a new renewal occurred. Check whether the statement entry was already pending when you canceled. Then ask support to identify the billing period and the membership connected to the payment.

Send the cancellation confirmation with your inquiry. If the charge remains unexplained or you believe it was unauthorized, contact your payment provider about the transaction. Keep that billing investigation separate from the confirmation that the membership itself has ended.

Finally, save a copy of any information you personally need while you still have access. Do not assume a canceled paid membership provides ongoing access to all previous monitoring features or reports; ask ScoreSense about your account's access end date if that matters to you.

Let Subpilot help

Keep track of what you want to cancel.

Review your subscriptions in Subpilot and request cancellation help where supported. Some providers require you to act directly; submitting a request does not confirm cancellation.
